just what i need.... an angsty start to the week. first, a major decision i have to make in my life. probably the first major one. second, a girl. whether she likes my advances or am i just chasing her away. auggggg.......... ahh well, i hope things will work themselves out.. hmm.

anyway, i intend to change my course. i am NOT happy in the current course i am in. it just plain sucks. really. never would i have thought that i would be this unhappy with this course. tried to chiong through the course in the past, but it really isn't doing me any good. i may be able to deal with the hardware, but i definitely won't be liking the software any time soon. it's really driving me to the edge. well done NYP, you got me spinning.

pigs have been running around in my head these days, and lovely they are. i dunno, but right here, right now, i am gonna declare my love for pigs. aren't they just so cute? fat, small, thin, big, whatever. they are just LOVELY. not to eat. never really got close to one, cos sg no longer has a pig farm. but i would love to have a close encounter with a pig some day, hehe. don't the pinkiness just evoke an "awwwwwww......" from you? hehehe.

was on the bust today with thow, as we were on the way to see thow-sao at srjc during her orientation. along the way thow looks out of the window and gasps in surprise.

"Oh my god."

i look at him in wonder and curiosity, and thus ask him what's up.

"look outside. see that guy's back seat? that's a lotta cash there."

i looked out, only to see a taxi with a sticker with loads of 50 dollar bills advertising for a local bank.

staring at him incredulously, i stuttered back,"t-t-that's a STICKER!!!!!"

he looks out again, then utters this in bemusement,"oh my god, i got CONNED by a sticker!!!!!"

staring more, i started laughing my head off. omg. imagine getting conned by a sticker showing 50 dollar bills in the back seat of the taxi... hahahahahahaha.

... was a huge success, at least for this one. somehow with only 2 days of planning we managed to pull this one off. omg. really omg.

my first attempt at public performance (solo) was really cool too. i kept trying to remember ajahn brahm's teachings, to take things easy and to enjoy. to his teachings i have to thank actually. though i did cock-up for the second song, and for the first song, i was actually unable to reach the high notes. the 2 songs i sang were bad day and better together, 2 of my all-time favourites.. i somehow feel that i didn't do them justice, but i did try my best.. so well, according to perry's little quote: doing your best is perfect, so to that i hold. i was perfect.

before that though, i had to facilitate some games, so that was also pretty fun... my team was really spontaneous, and that's what i want from my team! the spontanity is what keeps things going.. kudos! hehehehe...

unfortunately, i couldn't join them for supper, i had to come home and do stuff for my dear brother. so well.. hehehe. anyway, kudos to glen for doing a hell of a job, and for making the meeting such a good one.

and so, only a few hours after my godsister sends me a message encouraging me and wishing me luck for a certain miss R, i have decided that waiting was a useless waste of heart and time. so thus, i am letting go of something that was once dear to my heart. VERY dear, mind you guys. it's been a year since i first got to know the girl, but i guess it's time to move on. look out girls, I'M BACK!!!!!!!

i'm fine guys, really. just thought that it was a good time to let go of the things that i cared about so much once but since it's not reciprocating, then i guess it's not the time. maybe in the future? who knows? the future is never certain.

i had a good christmas anyway.. loved it. got to spend time with my whole family( well almost whole, with the exception of my dear brother who is now in beijing ). we did the household chores, but it was really fun cos in the end we started playing with water and all, and in the end became soaked. well... what fun. then the rest of the day was just spent chilling out. which was cool. really.

anyway, got to go... it's been a good year( relatively, and i got a SISTER! omg. ). i hope next year will be just as good, if not even better.

was a huge success. the number of people who joined, the people who contributed.. it was all too amazing. hehe... well done to yi wei for making the amazing race such a success and such a great challenge. SAS was a tough nut to crack, but somehow we did it without having to go all around T2 and T1 searching.. see what brains and teamwork can do you? hehehe (though i have to say i had a lot of luck as well).

anyway, i have a few thank you messages to go out to the lot of guys too... so here goes:

number 1 is to weizhang for making the camp such a fun one. it couldn't have been better. serious. you got a good team for the camp, and they all did their work. i have to say i'm impressed.

number 2 is to perry for his ever crazy antics and his slurry talk. it's really entertaining just to listen to him talk, and well... you just are cool. perhaps in the wrong sort of way.. hehe.

number 3 is to yi wei. for making this amazing race one amazing one. and to opening up the eyes of the campers to the ways of singapore. if not, i am pretty sure most of us would be still in the dark as to what is where and where is what.

number 4 is to audrey for making my team so lively with her chitter chatter and her eagerness for doing stuff. she's really a cool gal and REALLY mature for her age.. i guess it comes with having to travel around so much.

number 5 is to carene for making us do a leopard crawl in the sand 3 TIME WHEREAS perry's team only did it ONCE. NO FAIR. BOOOOOO. lol. anyway, it was cool.. and well done anyway. nice dancing too.

number 6 is to little GUANG GUANG for brightening up the camp with his natural silliness and his ability to crack jokes on the run. man, you remind me of jughead.

number 7 is to DA JIE!!! for making me do my job at times, for reminding me to allocate time to do work, and just for being there. love you ze!

and lastly... to ALL the campers who participated in the camp.. you guys were all good fun. well done to you all! i will definitely miss you guys... it's been like family.

life's been swell so far.. exams are finishing today, and i have a camp to attend tomorrow. no problems with the camp, for i am sure that it would be really cool to go for it and since i ALREADY know my group members, oh well, swell. it's supposed to be confidential, but oh well. hehe... i am after all part of the committee.. if i don't know.. damn, that would be quite sad. hehehe...

saw a guy on the bus today... kinda freaked me out. though it ain't the first time i saw him, but this guy really gives me the creeps. what he was actually doing was slapping his face constantly, showing the middle finger, snorting loudly and sniffing just as loud as well... kinda scares me. then i remembered what i used to do to myself when i was in depression and not telling anyone anything. i realised how self-destructive it was. and i actually sought company after that. after thinking of that, i realised how much i actually pitied that poor soul. oh well...
